None of it started in a computer lab

It started with a 10-year-old selling handmade jewelry.

Rewinding to 2012…

The Maker Kid

2012 — 2018

Making things people pay for — years before writing a line of code.

  1. Age 10~2012

    First Business

DP Creation, with my sister Duvani — handmade jewelry and art. My first taste of making things people actually pay for.

  2. Age 13~2015

    Started Coding

First lines of code in 8th grade. Built scrappy websites, got hooked, never stopped.

  3. Age 15~2017

    Cubing Competitions & State Skating

Swept every category at the CFI Under-16 cubing meet; selected for state-level skating. WCA-official since 2015 — 12 competitions, best 3×3 single: 14.82s.

Unlocked this era

  • Selling — before knowing the word 'entrepreneurship'
  • First scrappy websites
  • Speedcubing (WCA, 14.82s PB)
  • State-level skating

The Student Builder

2019 — 2021

Diploma years — foundations, hardware, and the first callbacks.

  1. Age 162019

    Diploma Begins

Computer Science diploma at SBMP — first hackathons, first leadership roles. Opened my GitHub that December; within months its code was in the Arctic Code Vault.

  2. Age 172020

    Research Paper & IoT

Published a research paper on IoT fundamentals. Joined ExperientialEtc as an IoT systems developer — hardware and sensors, not just screens.

    IoT research paper publication
Published at 17 — IoT fundamentals
  3. Age 182021

    The CitJo Loop

Interned at CitJo, quit, got invited back as Flutter dev lead. Three separate call-backs in total — some exits are just intermissions.

Unlocked this era

  • Python & IoT — Raspberry Pi, sensors
  • Research writing, published at 17
  • Flutter
  • First hackathons
  • Class rep · SIH coordinator

The Arena

2022 — 2023

Hackathons, real clients, and a company of my own.

  1. Age 192022

Hackathon Streak & First Freelance Clients

The hackathon streak began — it ran to 10 wins across 15+ entries. Freelancing too: Boult Audio's unified smartwatch companion app, the Netaji app.

    Unscript Rookies hackathon winner certificate
    Unscript Rookies — Winner, 2022
  2. Age 202023

    Engaze Is Born

Founded Engaze and started building CampusOS. Also that year: GDSC App Lead, IEEE Technical Head, and the first of my 20+ workshops — CS essentials, 53 students in the room.

    KJSCE Hacks 7.0 winner certificate
    KJSCE Hacks 7.0 — Winner, 2023

  • Django · PostgreSQL · AWS
  • Teaching — first workshop, 53 students
  • GDSC App Lead · IEEE Technical Head

All In

2024

The bet: drop the degree, back the company.

  1. Age 212024

    Dropped Out for the Startup

Announced it publicly: dropped out of engineering to go all-in on Engaze. Swapped lectures for a self-studied MBA — books and real deals as the coursework.

Unlocked this era

  • Self-studied MBA
  • Fundraising & operations
  • Knowing when to step away

The Comeback

2025 — 2026

Finish the degree. Run the company. Do both.

  1. Age 222025

    The Comeback Semester

Came back to finish the degree while running the company — writing features, pitching investors, debugging at 3AM. First paying clients turned into a real team: by March I was the one hiring engineers.

  2. Age 23Apr 2026

Claude Community Mentor for Anthropic's Hackathon

Selected as a Claude Community Mentor for Anthropic's Built with Opus 4.7 hackathon — a field of 497 builders across 36 countries. Built the participant directory, 47builders.fyi, while I was at it.

  3. Age 23Jun 2026

    The Degree, Finally
