What this site knows about you

I run my own analytics on my own server. No third parties are involved, so this is short.

What I collect

  • The page you are on, and the page that sent you here.
  • Device type, browser and OS — read off the user-agent string.
  • Country and city, from the network edge. Never a precise location.
  • Interactions: clicks, how far you scrolled, how long you stayed.
  • If you accept: a random ID in your browser, so a second visit is not counted as a second person.

What I don't

  • No IP address is stored. It is hashed with a salt that rotates daily, then discarded.
  • No third-party trackers, no ad networks, no analytics SaaS.
  • No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
  • Nothing is sold, shared or synced anywhere.

What you send me

  • Contact form: your name, email and message — kept so I can reply.
  • Newsletter: your email. Every send carries an unsubscribe link.
  • Slam book: your entry, reviewed by me before it appears publicly.

How long I keep it

  • Raw events: 400 days, then deleted.
  • Daily counts: kept — they hold no identifiers.
  • Anything you sent me through a form: until you ask me to delete it.

Where it runs

  • First-party. The analytics API is my own code on a Mac Mini in Mumbai.
  • The data never leaves that machine.
